Anglian Water, the largest water and water recycling company in England and Wales, faced a challenge in achieving efficient business resilience reporting during the Covid-19 pandemic. Their data was siloed across multiple systems, leading to delays, duplication, and difficulties in understanding their real-time risk profile to support critical decision-making. This prompted them to engage with vendor Bizzdesign and their Horizzon platform.

Bizzdesign's solution provided a master modeling platform to create a common Enterprise Model. This enabled Anglian Water to visually connect disparate datasets, such as employee and critical activity data, using Entity Relationship Diagrams and ArchiMate models. The results included enabling near-live business resilience reporting, solving business issues through improved visibility, and creating powerful reports to monitor the real-time impact of Covid-19 on critical teams, which informed backfill planning and highlighted areas of risk.
