Valmet migrates 2,300 Tableau assets to Cloud with Biztory

Valmet, a global developer and supplier of process technologies and automation, faced the challenge of migrating its complex analytics environment from Tableau Server to Tableau Cloud. Their landscape included custom embedding across platforms like a React application and Salesforce CRM, which relied on deprecated APIs. In parallel, an internal user management platform tightly coupled with their server also required architectural changes for the cloud. They partnered with vendor Biztory to manage this migration using their proprietary tool, TabMove.

Biztory's solution involved using TabMove to take full ownership of the migration, seamlessly moving content and re-establishing subscriptions, refresh schedules, and security models. This allowed Valmet's internal teams to focus on updating their own applications. Biztory successfully migrated 2,300 Tableau assets without disruption, ensuring full business continuity and establishing a future-ready cloud environment integrated with Snowflake, React, and Salesforce.
