Bizongo designed and developed a patented, award-winning 5-compartment meal tray with a precise groove-based locking mechanism to prevent both outer-edge and intra-compartmental spillage. Constructed from a cornstarch-based biodegradable material and manufactured via thermoforming, the tray was rigorously tested to be spill-proof and food-safe. This innovation successfully addressed Windsor's supply-side problem, providing a sustainable product that met specific market needs while also reducing plastic waste, as the tray is 70% biodegradable with efforts ongoing to reach 100%.
