DIRECTV for Business, supported by its agency BusinessOnline, needed to generate new, high-quality leads from small-business decision makers while driving down cost per lead. Previous display campaigns lacked clear insight into which business types were being reached and did not deliver the scale required to evaluate segment performance, so the team sought a more precise, cost-efficient way to reach SMB owners across industries like restaurants, retail and private offices.
BusinessOnline turned to Bizo for targeted display advertising, full-funnel analytics and site retargeting to re-engage visitors who didn’t convert on first visit. The campaign increased pageviews per Bizo-exposed visitor (about 5% in June to ~20% in August), reduced cost per new visitor (≈ $17 → $7), and drove cost per lead down from roughly $1.7k in July to $400–$500 in August and $350–$450 in September—achieving leads below the target cost while tapping Bizo’s ~120M professional audience.
