A BizLibrary Case Study
MAVERICK Technologies, a global leader in advanced manufacturing technologies, discovered through employee engagement surveys that staff wanted clearer career development, greater engagement, and ongoing training. Existing training was informal and technical, leaving gaps in soft skills and consistent access across the organization.
To address this, MAVERICK created a workforce development department and partnered with BizLibrary in 2013, combining BizLibrary’s short-form video library and LMS content-management tools with their own safety and EHS materials. They tied courses to competencies and performance reviews, secured management buy-in with a formal charter, and launched organization-wide assignments with follow-up roundtables. The program reduced turnover, boosted engagement scores, enabled monthly manager-led development discussions, and supported a new 5-year strategic growth plan by linking human development to business goals.
