Marquette Savings Bank, a community-focused lender known for its “Hometown Touch,” sought to improve onboarding and customer service skills but had limited internal training resources. Human Resources decided a proven, pre-packaged program would best address gaps in consistency and efficiency across branches.
The bank implemented BizLibrary’s Streaming Video Library and content tools, starting with compliance training, monthly topic-driven sessions, branch “champions” with admin rights, and a Community social learning app. Training was tied to annual reviews and individual development plans; new hires now follow a guided onboarding pathway and employees average 38 courses per year. The program reduced time to full productivity, increased engagement and productivity, earned strong manager support, and is expanding to a sales and customer service curriculum developed by six internal experts.
