MarksNelson - Customer Case Study

MarksNelson is a 154‑person CPA and business advisory firm in Kansas City serving privately held companies across automotive, construction, manufacturing, distribution and real estate. When they partnered with BizLibrary in January 2017 they aimed to map training to role‑based competencies, roll out “MarksNelson University,” train and introduce Career Coaches, and make learning and feedback part of everyday practice.

Using BizLibrary’s microlearning platform, an intranet resource hub, a 30‑Day Feedback Challenge, and a peer‑designed “Excel Ninja” certification, MarksNelson drove broad participation and skill development. Early outcomes included a firmwide quiz average of 77.25% and ongoing tracking of client score, learning‑track progress, turnover, review results and promotion timelines — improvements that strengthened coaching, competencies and the firm’s learning culture and earned them BizLibrary Client of the Month.
