Component Repair Technologies (CRT) is a privately held leader in aerospace component repairs that had doubled in size over five years and needed to rapidly build strong internal managers to protect its culture and support growth. With external hiring and consultants ruled out, CRT tasked its training team to design an in-house leadership track that would develop current and future leaders, enable succession planning, and strengthen management skills across the organization.

CRT partnered with BizLibrary in March 2017 to deliver a blended learning program—classroom lectures, discussions and role play supplemented by BizLibrary’s microlearning video library and homework assignments. The pilot launched with 55 leaders; in year one CRT assigned 1,800 video lessons and achieved a 95% completion rate. Early measurable benefits include stronger manager ownership of development, improved problem-solving confidence, better cross-generational knowledge transfer and camaraderie, and preliminary improvements in turnover, rework and other production metrics.
