The Church of the Resurrection, a rapidly growing non-profit with five physical campuses and an online congregation of over 20,000, faced the challenge of preparing newly promoted supervisors and supporting a dispersed, variable-hour workforce. Leaders needed consistent, affordable leadership and compliance training—especially on diversity and anti-harassment—and tools to help first-time managers transition from peer to supervisor while tracking completion across locations.

In November 2016 they launched Rez Academy with BizLibrary’s video-based library, assigning targeted new-manager lessons and sending monthly “Training Timeout” emails to drive ongoing development. The flexible, online format delivered consistent training, achieved 100% completion of required compliance lessons, averaged about 40% participation in optional programming each month, and improved manager confidence and performance-review practices based on strong learner feedback.
