A Bitwarden Case Study
DMM Eikaiwa, a global online English language platform operating in more than 120 countries, needed a better way to manage passwords and reduce security risks across its distributed workforce. As the company grew, it faced unauthorized password sharing, weak password habits, and the need to protect customer and instructor information while supporting more than 250 full- and part-time employees.
DMM Eikaiwa implemented Bitwarden as its password management solution to securely share credentials, enforce two-factor authentication, and give IT greater visibility and control over account access. With Bitwarden, the company eliminated sticky-note and spreadsheet password practices, standardized on unique strong passwords, and made user onboarding/offboarding much easier. The result was improved security, more secure password sharing, and easier access management across hundreds of services used by employees.
