Improving Pandora’s Global Cybersecurity Strategy

Pandora began a 360-degree review of its cybersecurity posture in 2020 under new Information Security Director Thomas Zuliani, with a small team of three tasked with improving maturity, managing franchise-level hygiene across thousands of stores, and making cybersecurity understandable to the C‑suite and board. To do this, Pandora engaged BitSight and deployed BitSight Security Performance Management (SPM) as a central tool to benchmark and communicate their external security posture.

Using BitSight SPM as a critical KPI and working with BitSight Advisors to set targets and remediation plans, Pandora identified gaps, fixed controls, and received tailored training and support. The result was a significant increase in their Security Rating, clearer, risk-based conversations with executives and accounting firms, improved prioritization of remediation, and organizational growth from a 3-person team to 25 people — all driven by BitSight’s platform and advisory services.
