The TAG Heuer experience: combining sport, luxury, and smartphone technologies

TAG Heuer, the Swiss luxury watchmaker behind smart and mechanical watches, needed a reliable way to build and manage its Wear OS, iOS, and Android companion apps as its connected-watch business grew. The TAG Heuer Connected engineering team turned to Bitrise for a mobile-focused CI/CD platform to support development from scratch, streamline team onboarding, and simplify workflow management across multiple apps.

With Bitrise, TAG Heuer improved test coverage, QA, and deployment using tools like GitHub, Gitflow, Danger, Android Lint, code signing, and custom scripts, while also speeding up delivery with the Bitrise Velocity Plan. The results were strong: the team achieved advanced test automation, reported apps that are practically crash-free with high app store ratings, and cut average Android build time from about 30 minutes to 15 minutes.
