Case Study: Zaim achieves faster releases and a simplified CI/CD workflow with Bitrise

A Bitrise Case Study

Preview of the Zaim Case Study

Redefining personal finance with Zaim

Zaim, the leading Japanese personal finance and bookkeeping app with over 8 million downloads, faced growing development friction from its legacy Jenkins CI/CD setup—tedious local maintenance, suboptimal performance, and GitHub connectivity issues that slowed testing and releases. To address these challenges, Zaim evaluated options and adopted Bitrise’s mobile-focused CI/CD platform to streamline its build and delivery pipeline.

Using Bitrise’s customizable workflows, built-in steps and integrations (including Fastlane), Zaim moved building, testing, automation and distribution into a single service, removing local machine dependencies and speeding iteration. The result: Zaim now runs over 400 builds per month across two main applications on Bitrise, enabling faster, more frequent feature rollouts and simpler, more manageable workflows.
