How Cabify speeds up build times and improves build success rates of their high-rated super-app

Cabify, the Spanish multi-mobility super-app, needed a more stable mobile CI solution after its existing setup caused long build times and frequent failures. To support its iOS and Android apps, the team looked for a cloud-based platform with strong GitLab integration and mobile-specific features, and chose Bitrise.

With Bitrise, Cabify automated nearly all of its mobile processes, added parallel testing, nightly builds, and broader test coverage, and later moved most iOS builds to M1 machines. Bitrise helped Cabify cut build times by about 35%, raise build success rates to over 95%, and reduce iOS build times from over an hour to a stable 18 minutes, while helping the app maintain a 4.8-star rating and 99.96% crash-free users.
