Newegg boosts global crypto payments nearly 5x with BitPay

Newegg, a major online retailer, faced challenges in accepting cryptocurrency payments due to Bitcoin's volatility and the technical complexity of building and maintaining its own crypto payment system. To expand this payment option globally, the company turned to vendor BitPay for a solution.

By implementing BitPay's payment processing service, Newegg was able to scale its cryptocurrency acceptance to 72 countries. The results were significant, with the vendor reporting that global cryptocurrency payment rates were nearly five times higher outside of North America than they were within the United States and Canada during the same timeframe.
