Healthcare Firm, a US-based healthcare organization with 30,000 global employees, planned to move its workforce to Office 365 but withheld OneDrive and SharePoint deployments because its existing network controls (next‑gen firewalls, Bluecoat secure web gateways, Symantec DLP) could not protect cloud data or support unmanaged devices. To enable the initiative and protect PHI, PII and corporate IP, the firm evaluated cloud access security broker (CASB) solutions including Bitglass.
