LTE Group, a leading UK education and training provider, faced a major security crisis when an infection bypassed their legacy McAfee protection during a Skype VoIP rollout, causing degraded call/video quality, rolling downtime for staff and students, and widespread missed threats. Dissatisfied with McAfee, LTE Group evaluated alternatives and selected Bitdefender’s GravityZone to secure their complex, highly virtualized environment.

Bitdefender deployed GravityZone across 6,000 workstations (with plans for 4,000 more), 600 VMware ESXi servers, 1,750 Horizon virtual desktops and other servers and mailboxes, and implemented device control and agentless VMware NSX integration.
