ISIL elevates cybersecurity protection via the cloud

ISIL Perú, one of Peru’s largest higher education institutions serving more than 15,000 students, faced rising cyber-attack risk and lacked centralized, cloud-based security administration. After evaluating ESET and Kaspersky, ISIL Perú selected Bitdefender’s GravityZone (GravityZone Business Security Enterprise and Premium) for its strong endpoint detection and response (EDR) capabilities and easy-to-use cloud console.

Bitdefender deployed GravityZone across ~1,400 endpoints—including Windows, macOS, Linux, VMware, Citrix and cloud environments—adding XDR and GravityZone Patch Management to automate updates. The solution prevented malware disruptions for six years, reduced security administration time by 35%, increased patch success from 55% to 95%, and cut weekly security-related inquiries from about 15 to 6, while eliminating the need for an on-premises security server and lowering costs.
