A Bitdefender Case Study
Bruce Automotive Group, a network of ten dealerships and service centers across Nova Scotia, faced rising cybersecurity risks as it grew and employees used diverse software and cloud tools. The decentralized environment and multiple legacy security products left IT stretched thin with on-site troubleshooting and no unified view of risk. After side‑by‑side testing, Bruce Automotive Group chose Bitdefender’s GravityZone suite (including GravityZone Business Security Enterprise, GravityZone XDR Network Sensor, and GravityZone Security for Email) to standardize remote protection across endpoints, servers, networks and email.
Bitdefender deployed GravityZone to protect nearly 300 endpoints (Linux, macOS, Windows), cloud and container environments (Docker, Google Cloud, VMware) and added XDR Network Sensors to correlate signals across the attack lifecycle. The multi‑layered solution improved detection and centralized visibility, enabling the IT team to maintain its size while the company grew from ~180 to nearly 300 employees, cut reactive “firefighting” time from about 60% to 40%, and eliminate the 3–5 weekly virus/slow‑device support calls. GravityZone Security for Email also quarantines suspicious links and attachments, addressing the estimated 80–90% of threats embedded in email.
