Bitdefender protects the Danish state

The Modernization Agency selected Bitdefender to secure IT across Danish ministries and authorities, appointing the vendor to provide comprehensive protection for PCs, Macs, Linux, servers, mobile devices and large virtual environments. The Agency chose Bitdefender on the criterion of “Quality” and contracted its GravityZone Security for Virtualized Environments (SVE) along with mail and gateway scanning to defend against viruses, phishing, ransomware and other malware.

Bitdefender deployed GravityZone SVE and the central GravityZone console to manage physical, virtual and mobile endpoints, integrate events with the State’s monitoring systems, and support all major hypervisors. The solution delivered high security while lowering physical resource consumption and administrative overhead; the Modernization Agency rated Bitdefender’s offering between “very good and excellent,” with measurable reductions in resource use and administrative time.
