Ayone Computers expands suite of cybersecurity solutions

Ayone Computers, an IT managed service provider in Auckland, faced rising cyberattacks and found its incumbent antivirus slipping in independent rankings and intermittently blocking client internet access, which strained engineering resources. After evaluating options, Ayone selected Bitdefender GravityZone Cloud MSP Security (with Advanced Threat Security and Endpoint Detection and Response) to strengthen prevention, detection and integration with their ConnectWise RMM.

Ayone rolled out Bitdefender to 500 client endpoints (with plans for an additional 300–400), protecting Windows workstations and servers across environments like Microsoft AD, Azure, Hyper-V, Office 365, SQL Server and VMware ESXi. Bitdefender immediately detected and removed malware missed by the previous AV, drove security-related trouble inquiries from about five per month to typically zero, cut incident response and security administration time by 50%, and helped generate new business (including a lead for another 200 endpoints).
