The PHPers Summit Organizers, hosts of a major PHP conference in Poland, faced significant challenges with their existing ticketing platform. Their previous system had bottlenecks, limited customization options, and could not handle the event's growing popularity or implement crucial features like workshop bookings. BitBag developed a scalable ticketing platform from scratch using the Sylius eCommerce framework. The solution included a complete website with a CMS, a custom design, and a robust ticket sales system capable of handling non-standard purchasing flows like sales peaks. The system has successfully supported ticket sales since 2018 with no operational problems, providing the organizers with a highly efficient and flexible tool that met all their expectations.
