ING Bank Śląski expands e-commerce support with BitBag’s Sylius payment integration

The customer, ING Bank Śląski, sought to expand the availability of its ING Pay online payment gateway by integrating it with the Sylius eCommerce platform. The challenge was to develop a comprehensive plugin that would allow Sylius-based stores to utilize ING Pay's various payment methods. The vendor, BitBag, was approached for this task due to its official partnership with Sylius and its expertise in the platform.

BitBag implemented a fully functional Sylius plugin for ING Pay. The solution integrated multiple payment methods including BLIK, card payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and deferred payments, while also enabling multi-currency support and refund handling from the admin panel. As a result, ING Pay successfully expanded the number of supported eCommerce platforms, meeting the expectations of its current and future customers and supporting ING Bank Śląski's comprehensive strategy for servicing businesses.
