Aldex Sp. Z O.o, a leading company in the lighting industry operating the Artera brand, faced significant challenges due to an outdated eCommerce platform. Their Sylius-based store was on version 1.2, which had accrued technical debt, hindered performance, and prevented further development and integration with modern tools. BitBag executed a systematic upgrade of the Sylius platform from version 1.2 to 1.11, which included updating PHP and implementing a suite of customized features. These new functionalities, such as 3D model handling, an improved search engine, and automation rules, streamlined operations and enhanced the customer experience.
