Equifax Employs Bishop Fox’s Cosmos (formerly CAST) for Continuous Security Testing

Equifax, a global data, analytics, and technology company, needed to map and track thousands of domains and subdomains and secure its external perimeter as it rebuilt systems and migrated assets to the cloud. To maintain continuous perimeter testing since 2020, Equifax engaged Bishop Fox and deployed Bishop Fox’s Cosmos managed service (formerly CAST) for continuous attack surface testing.

Bishop Fox’s Cosmos provides continuous testing, real-time communications, and a dedicated team that augments Equifax’s red team—using automation, attacker techniques, and custom exploits to detect, investigate, and prioritize findings, and by verifying bug-bounty leads to reduce noise. The partnership has given Equifax continuous detection and response, improved visibility of exposed assets, and faster, more precise remediation so issues are investigated, escalated, and fixed before they become problems.
