Del Norte Credit Union (DNCU), a New Mexico-based credit union serving 50,000 members, wanted to improve its digital banking experience while reducing the time and errors tied to manual document processing. To support this goal, DNCU worked with BIS, Inc. and used Grooper, an intelligent document processing solution, to handle digitally signed documents more efficiently.
BIS, Inc. helped DNCU automate the processing and classification of documents from its eight branch offices, extracting key member data and sending it to the credit union’s ECM system after approval. The solution now processes 30 document types, eliminates 97.5% of manual data entry, and saves about 1,256 hours each year, while also improving accuracy, reducing costs, and freeing staff from tedious work.
