Slash9 Productions, a Belgian event production company, was tasked with providing the live stream for Rampage, one of the world's largest dubstep and drum and bass parties held at a major Belgian arena. Their challenge was to create a rock-solid broadcast infrastructure for the massive two-night event, which required managing 11 cameras while maintaining high quality and reliability on a relatively low budget. They chose to use a full IP workflow with products from their long-time vendor, BirdDog.

BirdDog's NDI technology provided the solution, using a hybrid setup that included P4K cameras and Flex 4K encoders. This allowed Slash9 to send all video, audio, tally, and comms over single Ethernet connections, drastically reducing the complex cable infrastructure typically required. The result was a highly successful, high-quality live stream for over 30,000 attendees. The BirdDog solution delivered exceptional reliability, low latency, and significant cost savings, strengthening the customer's trust in the vendor for future large-scale productions.
