The customer, Stream Dudes, assisted attorney Jennifer Bukowsky who needed to build a new, multi-camera live streaming studio from the ground up for her political commentary show. The challenge was to create a cost-effective and highly flexible production workflow that was also easy to use. Stream Dudes selected an NDI-based IP video solution to meet these needs, utilizing BirdDog Mini encoders.

The solution implemented by Stream Dudes centered on an NDI workflow powered by BirdDog Mini devices connected to JVC cameras. This setup fed into a vMix production system, eliminating the need for expensive traditional SDI gear and a separate tally system. The vendor, BirdDog, provided the key hardware that enabled this flexible, network-based approach. As a result, the client saved a significant amount of money and has successfully streamed over 50 hours of content, with some shows amassing over 10,000 views across multiple social media platforms.
