BIRD Analytics worked with a cloud-based software and logistics service providing company that supports major third-party logistics, freight forwarders, and global e-commerce businesses. The customer needed a strategic partner to implement a complete data management and analytics solution for real-time streaming warehouse data so it could monitor operational KPIs across many warehouses in different global locations.

BIRD Analytics used its full-stack BI platform to build a scalable, repeatable solution covering data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and visualization, including Kafka-based IoT streaming from 250+ sensors, reusable business models, a custom UI, and 3D warehouse location intelligence heatmaps. The result was a live solution that provides visibility into productivity, workforce effectiveness, and MHE utilization with deep drill-down analysis, and it is projected to scale to 3,000 warehouses for a European 3PL; the proof of concept was successfully delivered in Malaysia and is now live for two customers.
