ClubCorp, a membership-based leisure company with over 160 locations, 15,000 employees and 370,000 members, faced inconsistent recipes and time-consuming manual pricing updates—its 400 recipes were managed in Excel amid frequent food-cost fluctuations. ClubCorp selected BirchStreet Systems’ Recipe Management System as a cloud-based platform to standardize recipes, control costing, and streamline F&B operations across clubs.
BirchStreet Systems converted ClubCorp’s recipes into the system, linking ingredients to nutritional data and preferred suppliers so pricing updates in real time; the recipe library expanded to over 3,000 entries accessible across all properties with templates, images and videos to enforce brand standards. The BirchStreet solution eliminated manual price changes, improved visibility and accountability, reduced expenses and saved time, and supports onboarding new locations (including 50 Sequoia sites) and routine menu engineering tied to supplier pricing.
