Delaware North’s Southland Park Gaming and Racing struggled with manual, spreadsheet-driven purchasing, accounts payable, inventory and recipe processes across a large gaming and foodservice operation. Seeking a single cloud platform and vendor, Delaware North selected BirchStreet Systems’ procure-to-pay solution — deploying eProcurement, AP Automation, Inventory Control and Recipe Management — to centralize purchasing and increase spend visibility and regulatory reporting.

BirchStreet Systems rolled out the modules in stages and centralized purchasing, invoicing and inventory control, including punch-out supplier integration and 3-way AP auto-matching. The implementation cut manual purchase orders to five per month, reduced a manual transfer process by 90% and saved about 3 hours of labor daily, enabled perpetual inventory counts, shortened month-end close by two days, and improved vendor management and spend reporting.
