Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino, a newly renovated Las Vegas property with 634 rooms, multiple restaurants and a large gaming floor, needed a complete procure-to-pay system to replace paper purchase orders and slow, manual approval processes. After evaluating options, the property implemented BirchStreet Systems’ cloud-based eProcurement, AP Automation, Inventory Control and Recipe Management modules to provide purchasing, inventory and F&B management from go‑live.
BirchStreet Systems automated approval workflows, supplier punch-outs, real-time inventory updates with color-coded par levels, and 3‑way PO/receiving/invoice matching, integrated with the hotel’s M3 ERP. The platform eliminated paper POs, sped approvals, reduced manual updates, improved inventory accuracy and reporting for AP accruals and month‑end, and strengthened internal controls—helping Downtown Grand operate more efficiently during high occupancy and spend.
