St. George PLC, a specialist in high-quality mixed-use regeneration schemes, faced the challenge of securing and managing a very large workforce on its flagship One Tower Bridge development in London. To support this project, St. George PLC worked with Biosite Systems and its biometric site access control and workforce management platform, Biosite, alongside Acetech Security.
Biosite Systems tailored its biometric solution to the site’s needs, helping manage more than 10,000 operatives across 10 access points with multiple CCTV cameras. The system used fingerprint biometrics instead of cards or PINs, improving site security, supporting health and safety compliance, and giving Berkeley Homes access to workforce KPI reporting and cost efficiencies.
