How Pacific Compensation Insurance Created a Fully Branded and Secure Portal
Pacific Compensation Insurance Company (PacComp), an insurance provider with 1,150+ users, needed a fully integrated and secure portal that could deliver access to data and applications for specific agents and customers. The company was using some SSO already, but it wasn’t deployed across all applications and lacked the customization, branding, and auditing capabilities needed for its hybrid internal/external access portal. BIO-key’s PortalGuard was chosen to help meet these requirements.
BIO-key implemented PortalGuard Single Sign-On as a fully branded portal with support for multiple directories and SSO methods, including SAML and forms-based authentication for non-SAML apps. The solution let PacComp present users with only the resources relevant to them, eliminated repeated logins across applications, and added on-demand auditing and reporting by user, location, time, and IP address.
