Multi-Entity Management Spells Relief for Intertech Security’s Multiple Database and Excel Spreadsheet Headaches

Intertech Security, a 150-employee provider of integrated physical security solutions, was struggling with multiple entities, separate Dynamics GP databases, technician schedules and scores of Excel spreadsheets as it grew. To address scalability and operational complexity they implemented Dynamics GP and WennSoft Signature and engaged Binary Stream’s Multi-Entity Management (MEM) to eliminate duplicate data entry and consolidate scheduling and financial data.

Binary Stream’s MEM consolidated Intertech’s multiple GP databases into a single database and unified WennSoft schedules onto one graphical schedule board, removing fragmented data and duplicate processes. The result was a huge efficiency gain: reporting became simple and comprehensive (no longer printing one report at a time), scheduling and operations were centralized, and Intertech could continue growing without adding accounting headcount.
