A BIME Analytics Case Study

Bime helps the Department of Justice for British Columbia publish their data to the public

Bime partnered with the British Columbia Ministry of Justice to help publish court system data publicly and increase government transparency. The challenge was to quickly turn complex courthouse statistics into accessible, user-friendly visualizations for citizens, businesses, media and researchers — all under an aggressive three-week deadline and across a nine-hour time difference.

Bime delivered interactive dashboards with maps, graphs and drill-down filters that show new cases, time to case conclusion, court hours and scheduled appearances for all three court levels. The project was completed on time and on budget; the Ministry praised Bime’s agility and the tool’s flexibility, user feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and additional content is planned.
