KDDI France Project Designing and Building a Datacenter in the Heart of Paris

Cap Ingelec, a top-five French engineering company, was tasked with the complex renovation of a Parisian building into a Tier III+ data center for KDDI France. The challenges included a complex design within a limited space, unforeseen as-built conditions, and the need to minimize disruption in an urban location. To manage coordination between stakeholders, they turned to the vendor BIM Track and its collaboration platform.

Utilizing BIM Track, the team centralized communication, tracked issues directly within their modeling software like Navisworks and Revit, and held more efficient coordination meetings. This solution resulted in the project being completed on schedule, which the teams agreed would not have been possible without BIM Track. The platform also reduced meeting preparation time by up to three hours per week during the design phase, significantly improving efficiency.
