Floor & Decor, a hard-surface flooring retailer with over 70 stores nationwide, needed to scale commercial credit and invoicing offered through its lender CIT but their POS could not perform real-time credit checks, generate assignment notices, or hold invoices until inventory shipped. To remove time-consuming manual steps and speed commercial transactions, Floor & Decor turned to BillingPlatform’s cloud-based invoicing and credit-management solution.

BillingPlatform implemented a centralized, web-based layer between CIT, the POS and store clerks that automates credit checks, event-based invoicing (only when inventory leaves the store), document generation, returns/refunds handling, and rate override logic. The result: store clerks can run credit availability checks in seconds with near-real-time credit balances across all stores, manual invoicing cycles were eliminated, and Floor & Decor now manages the full credit-to-payment cycle nationally from a single, configurable BillingPlatform hub without custom coding.
