Boys & Girls Club of Silicon Valley (BGCSV) is a nonprofit serving about 3,000 regular members across 16 clubhouses in a region where an estimated 70,000 kids are at risk. When COVID-19 hit, funding dried up and the organization urgently needed better day-to-day cash visibility and remote approval workflows to keep programs running and expand the number of kids served without adding back-office staff.

In September 2020 BGCSV implemented Bill.com (integrated with QuickBooks), which automated accounts payable, enabled mobile approvals, and gave leadership real-time cash visibility. The automation saved leadership hours, freed staff to focus on fundraising and programs, and let BGCSV scale summer and teen offerings—expanding reach without hiring additional administrative headcount.
