MOD Ventures is a Tucson-based outsourced accounting firm formed as a joint venture between BeachFleischman and GMLCPA, led by CEO Gabrielle Luoma, CPA, CGMA. The firm needed a cloud-based, automated AP/AR solution to scale beyond local clients, eliminate paper processes, avoid on-site file access, and enable more advisory work instead of transactional tasks.

They implemented Bill.com—leveraging its cloud, AI, autopay, mobile approvals, and QuickBooks Online integration—to automate billing and collections. As a result, clients approve bills in about 20 minutes, MOD gets paid on the first day of the month (up to 45 days faster than typical cycles), and the firm has grown its CAS practice and shifted to higher-value advisory services.
