High Rock Accounting, a Scottsdale-based firm founded in 2013, set out to deliver modern client accounting services (CAS) by leveraging technology for greater efficiency and advisory value. Many of their small and mid-sized clients were uneasy about outsourcing and struggled with time-consuming, error-prone accounts payable processes—manual routing, data entry, approvals and weak internal controls made timely, accurate bill payment difficult.

High Rock integrated Bill.com (with Xero) as the backbone of its CAS offering to automate AP/AR, enable mobile approvals and schedule payments for better cash-flow management, and centralize records. The result: streamlined workflows, faster payments, and stronger controls; audit time dropped from a full day to about 10 minutes, client-related bill-processing work fell from roughly five hours a week to one, and clients gained confidence in their financials.
