Enlightened Equipment, the outdoor gear manufacturer, was struggling with highly manual financial operations, paper checks, hard-to-track spending, and limited visibility across vendors and employee purchases. To improve efficiency and control, the company turned to BILL (Bill.com) for accounts payable and spend management.

Bill.com implemented BILL Accounts Payable and BILL Spend & Expense, enabling automated approvals, transparent check and wire payments, and virtual cards for each vendor. The results were dramatic: dispute handling dropped from about 20 minutes to seconds, new vendor cards could be set up in about 30 seconds, and the company gained much better visibility, stronger internal controls, and significant time savings.
