415 Group, a Canton, OH–based accounting and IT services firm serving privately held companies and operating an IT division, struggled with a legacy time-and-billing system that made time entry difficult, lacked QuickBooks integration, and couldn't handle hardware sales, inventory and expenses. In 2010 the firm engaged BigTime Software and its hosted time-and-billing/practice-management solution to replace the old system and migrate roughly 20 years of data — even in the middle of tax season.

BigTime Software performed a seamless conversion, integrated the IT division’s data with billing and accounting, and delivered a customizable front end, daily management reports and mobile access. The implementation saved administrative staff an estimated 10–12 hours per month, supported rapid growth (revenues tripled and headcount more than doubled while administrative staffing stayed at three to four people), enabled timely mobile time entry for about 50 users, and gave leadership same‑day visibility to run the business proactively.
