WEC Energy Group, a major utility company serving customers across four states, faced growing alert noise, tool sprawl, and limited visibility after mergers and acquisitions made incident management increasingly complex. Lacking unified context across network and application tools, the company struggled with duplicate alerts, slow response times, and a reactive approach to IT operations. BigPanda provided its AIOps platform to help WEC improve incident handling and reduce MTTR.

With BigPanda, WEC Energy Group created a centralized, full-context view of alerts across on-premises and cloud environments, enabling better correlation, deduplication, and prioritization of incidents. The results were significant: event deduplication reached 98.8%, total noise dropped by 99.95%, and 90.8% of incidents became actionable, helping WEC reduce MTTR and improve service reliability.
