TED@PMI's Virtual Event Helped Project Managers Move from Idea to Reality

PMI teamed with TED to produce TED@PMI, a virtual conference aimed at bringing inspiring ideas and powerful voices to the project management community and empowering people to turn ideas into reality. To run the event entirely online, PMI engaged BigMarker’s virtual event platform to host an interactive, two-day experience tailored to a global professional audience.

BigMarker built and managed a two-day program featuring seven continuous stages, an attendee lounge for sponsor and peer interaction, and interest activities (workouts, dance parties, wellness sessions and more) to combat screen fatigue. The event drew 35,000+ project management professionals from 50 countries, delivered intimate, high-quality TED-style talks and conversations, and helped PMI humanize its mission while inspiring attendees to apply project management skills to improve communities—results powered by BigMarker’s platform.
