A BigMarker Case Study
Girls in Tech, a global nonprofit dedicated to closing the gender gap in tech, needed to scale its signature in‑person programming to a virtual format to connect members across 50+ chapters. To bring thousands of participants together for a day of conversation and action, Girls in Tech partnered with BigMarker and used BigMarker’s virtual event platform to host its first large‑scale virtual conference.
Working with BigMarker, Girls in Tech produced a program of trailblazing speakers, interactive exhibitor experiences, workshops, networking, and a live podcast recording; the platform supported above‑average engagement and global participation. The event became Girls in Tech’s largest to date—more than 6,000 people registered—and BigMarker’s platform enabled the organization to reach a far broader, more engaged international audience.
