Roythornes Solicitors, a Top 200 UK law firm, needed to capture and track work sent from lawyers to support staff when enforced remote working began. Already using BigHand’s digital dictation, Roythornes converted its BigHand Workflow Management licences to the full legal workflow solution to gain visibility and control over tasks such as copying, bundling, archiving and document amendment.

BigHand implemented a centralised legal workflow that captures all instructions up front, automatically routes tasks to the right skilled resource at the right cost, and provides desktop and mobile visibility for lawyers and managers. The BigHand solution has streamlined task progress tracking, improved resource capacity management (enabling work to be flexibly shifted between offices such as Nottingham and Birmingham), and reduced onboarding/training time because staff were already familiar with the platform—delivering clearer oversight and more efficient service delivery.
