Osborne Clarke drives operational efficiency and workflow improvement with BigHand Now

Osborne Clarke, an international law firm, needed to improve how PA and secretarial tasks were assigned, managed and executed to ensure the right work reached the right people and to boost operational efficiency and client service. To tackle this, Osborne Clarke extended its long-standing use of BigHand’s dictation platform by selecting BigHand’s BigHand Now and BigHand Capacity Manager for a more robust digital task and capacity management solution.

BigHand deployed BigHand Now and BigHand Capacity Manager in a six-week pilot with the Bristol Real Estate team, introducing pre-configured digital task forms, real-time assignment, prioritisation and analytics. The solution reduced task handling time for attorneys and secretarial staff, eliminated task build‑ups through real‑time reprioritisation, improved workload balance and resource forecasting, and is being rolled out to 838 staff (including 474 attorneys) across three UK offices.
