Clark Hill, an AM Law 200 firm with 29 locations across the U.S., Ireland, and Mexico, needed a better way to support its lawyers as hybrid working expanded and experienced Legal Administrative Assistants (LAAs) approached retirement. The firm wanted to reduce dependence on traditional one-to-one lawyer support, preserve institutional knowledge, and improve the way legal support work was shared across offices. BigHand Workflow Management was chosen to help modernize task delegation and support service delivery.

With BigHand Workflow Management, Clark Hill moved to team-based support models, centralized routine tasks through its CHART resource, and gained visibility into work completed across the firm. The rollout supported 30 LAA teams and helped the firm complete 20,886 tasks in a single month, while also improving flexibility, collaboration, and succession planning. BigHand enabled Clark Hill to better measure work, identify training needs, and redeploy support resources more efficiently without needing immediate local hires in new offices.
