Brown Rudnick, an international law firm with nine offices and over 230 lawyers, needed to centralise and streamline its document production process to replace an inflexible in-house template solution and to integrate with Outlook and their Document Management System. The firm selected BigHand and its BigHand Create document production tool to provide a robust, easy-to-use, and centrally managed templating solution.

BigHand implemented BigHand Create across Brown Rudnick’s US offices and then rolled it out to London, allowing non-programmer administrators to build and update templates, integrate with existing systems, and deliver firm-wide toolbars and templates on demand. The result was rapid user adoption, a significant increase in workflow, greater document consistency, reduced non-billable drafting and formatting time, and growing demand across departments for new templates — all achieved with the BigHand solution.
